Student Voice Meetings

At Nottingham College there are various meetings that give students the opportunity to have a voice and give feedback on their experience. 

 

Below are a list if meetings we offer; 

Types of meetings

These meetings are organised and facilitated by the Faculty Area Managers for each area, to give students the opportunity to discuss their teaching, learning and assessment of their course. Student Voice Board might be either face-to-face in the classroom or online through Microsoft Teams. 

All reps must attend their faculty's meeting.

If you are a Student Rep and havnen't been invited to a meeting then please email studentsunion@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk.

These meetings are open to ALL students. 

Focus groups are run by the Students’ Union, to bring students together to work on improvements for a specific area of the student experience. The areas of discuss at these focus groups with change each term and will be impacted by feedback from other Student Voice Meetings.

These students are only for students on a Higher Education course.

 

These meetings are organised and facilitated by the Faculty Area Managers and Course Leaders for each area, to give students the opportunity to discuss their aspect of your course and college life. Course Committees might be either face-to-face in the classroom or online through Microsoft Teams. 

 

All HE reps must attend their faculty's meeting.

Student Council brings together members of the college’s senior leadership team, the Students' Union and Campus Officers to work together in creating positive changes at Nottingham College for all students. Students get the chance share ideas about creating a better learning environment and improve the student experience.
