Your World, Your Future! Lead the change!!

My world My Home is an environmental leadership project, running in partnership with your Students’ Union.

Over two terms learn how to organise a successful campaign on an issue you feel passionately about, and how to get politicians and people with power to back you.

Joining the programme will give you the opportunity to:

• Create a team with students at your college and work together during weekly sessions to make the world a better place
• Develop your confidence and key skills including problem-solving, teamwork and time management
• Learn how to get your voice heard and take up the opportunity to meet local politicians and leaders
• Learn about social and environmental justice and how to hold those in power to account
• Receive 1-to-1 coaching and support from a Campaign Coach
• Attend a free residential trip in summer 2021 with young people from all over the UK

Past student campaigns around the country have included tackling air pollution, climate change and plastic waste, creating more green spaces at college, campaigns to support bus travel and cycling. Alumni of the programme have gone on to speak to members of the government at parliament and attend international climate events in Europe.
