Freshers has gone DIGITAL

Thursday 10-09-2020 - 12:04

For the first half term, Student Wellbeing is going digital!

With social distancing and government guidelines in place, we won't be able to hold our usual Freshers Fair. But we won't let that stop us offering a huge range of events and activities for you to get involved with to make new friends, manage your wellbeing, learn a new skill and have some fun!

We have a dedicated interact page with different zones you can access to really personalise your experience and over 100 activities to choose from!

Everything can all also be accessed for FREE through the NUS Totum app, where they will also be able to get exclusive local offers and discounts.

What you need to know...

  • All sessions will be hosted by the Student Wellbeing Team on MS Teams - you will need to use your student email to access them

  • You will be expected to take part in a minimum of 5 sessions over the first half term to earn your 'Freshers Badge', but can join in more if you want to!

  • You can access your session from anywhere - at home, on the bus, at college.... you will just need a PC, laptop or smartphone and access to MS Teams (https://students.nottinghamcollege.ac.uk/images/docs/coronavirus/Microsoft-Teams-Quick-Start-Guide-Students.pdf)

  • We have 6 'zones' including wellbeing, social, skill building, enrichment, societies and the SU
